Housing Australia Board appointment
Housing Australia notes the Federal Government’s announcement today and welcomes the appointment of Damien Tangey as a non-executive member of the Housing Australia Board for a five-year term.
Mr Tangey has over 30 years of experience in the property industry, with extensive knowledge of policy, regulation and market dynamics that drive housing delivery.
He has most recently served as Acting Chair of the Victorian Planning Authority and was previously Chair of Haven Home Safe, a community housing provider. In addition, Mr Tangey founded Birchgrove Property, has held an advisory position for Regional Development Australia and is a past President of the Urban Development Institute of Australia (Victoria).
