On Monday 11 November 2024, Housing Australia held a stakeholder forum to introduce its new CEO, Scott Langford, and his vision and priorities for the organisation.

National Housing Infrastructure Facility - Crisis and Transitional (NHIF CT) - Update
Housing Australia notes the Australian Government's updated Investment Mandate for Housing Australia on 2 December 2024. This comprises amendments to commit $1 billion in allocated funding to the National Housing Infrastructure Facility enabling Housing Australia to provide grants and concessional loans to support the delivery of crisis and transitional accommodation for women and children experiencing domestic violence, and youth experiencing homelessness.
Further information will be provided as the program progresses towards commencement.
Housing Australia funds its first temporary accommodation
Housing Australia has funded its first temporary accommodation project, helping to address the critical need for secure and safe short-term accommodation for those at risk, or facing, homelessness in Metropolitan Sydney.
